Information for poster and demo presenters

Instructions to Demo presenters

The Demo Room will be open at all times during Assembly. We ask that demo presenters please choose from a list of dates and times to be available in the Demo Room for attendees to take in your presentations.

Location in Gather: Demo Room

We are using the Gather virtual event platform with Zoom to run our virtual assembly, and Zohuddle for our Speed-dating for Neuroscientists session. Your session will be conducted live within the Gather platform.

Please provide the following information no later than Wed Sep 07, 2022:

  1. What dates/times you will be present in the Demo Room
  2. Any materials you would like us to upload in the Gather Demo Room.

How will it work?

  • Log into the Gather platform (open from Mon Sep 12, 00:00 CET, instuctions to follow when the platform opens) and walk over to the Demo Room (map here)
  • Your demo materials (if applicable) will be linked to the virtual poster board in the room for both you and attendees to see and interact with. You will be able to share your screen to run your demo.
  • Attendees will be encouraged to visit your demo. As they walk over, simply chat and interact as you would at an in-person conference!

Instructions to Poster presenters

We have three poster sessions, and are asking all presenters to select two that work for them. Please be available for the duration of these time slots to discuss your poster with attendees. We also ask you to submit a PDF of your poster in landscape orientation, dimension proportions of 4x3. We require this information no later than Wed Sep 07, 2022.

Available poster slots:

  • Monday September 12, 2022, 21:15-22:15 CET
  • Tuesday September 13, 2022, 02:00-03:00 CET
  • Tuesday September 13, 2022, 09:00-10:00 CET

How will it work?

  • Log into the Gather platform (open from Mon Sep 12, 00:00 CET, instuctions to follow when the platform opens)
  • Walk over to your poster (map & list attached), and chat as you would at an in-person conference!
  • Please stand at your poster in the Gather platform during the sessions you chose above, and of course at any other time during Assembly.
