Addgene is a nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating scientific discovery by enabling the easy, open sharing of highly quality controlled biomaterials. Addgene's collection contains over 95,000 plasmids contributed by 4,300 research labs worldwide. Addgene also provides more than 450 ready-to-use AAV and lentivirus vector preparations. With close to 1.5 million materials distributions in 103 countries, Addgene makes huge impacts on the pace and efficiency of science. By authenticating, storing, and distributing plasmids, virus, and their associated data, Addgene is creating a lasting resource for research and discovery scientists around the world.
